This course offers a comprehensive class-based training program situated within a fully operational dental clinic, incorporating both a dedicated lecture space and clinical operatory rooms for practical learning. It also features a laboratory and sterilization areas. The duration of each course is 12 weeks, providing 96 hours of combined classroom and practical laboratory/clinical training. Classes are scheduled in the evenings from Monday to Thursday and during the day on Fridays, enabling students to work full-time while participating in the dental assisting program. The curriculum includes additional study time and homework assignments. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and engage in a variety of dental procedures as part of their training. Upon completing the required 96 hours of instruction and a minimum of 60 hours of externship, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

This segment will also cover the anatomy of teeth, highlighting their structures, unique characteristics, and the materials from which they are made, providing a solid foundation for practical dental treatment applications.
Moreover, students will be taught how to distinguish between primary and permanent teeth, along with recognizing different tooth surfaces, parts, and surrounding tissues. This knowledge is crucial for effective dental practice and patient care.
